About Us Third Encore Studios was started in 1989 to serve the growing needs of the touring/recording artist in the Los Angeles area. Starting with one rehearsal studio and a few storage lockers, Third Encore grew throughout the 90's, expanding into four large, fully-equipped studios, and offering backline rental, cartage and a complete storage facility. In 2002, we identified the need for 24-hour lock-out studios that reflected the quality of Third Encore's main studios, and opened our first building; a 16 studio facility in the NoHo district of North Hollywood. The studios were in high demand right from the beginning.
